The lobby area gets kids involved right away with the interactive trolly and Kidsburgh play space. The History Center is a great place to spend a few hours. Birds flying overhead can lead so some unexpected souvenirs. *pro-tip, make sure you bring some wipes with you. Visit the penguins or enjoy the immersive tropical rainforest exhibit. It is also the country’s largest aviary, and the only one accorded honorary “National” status by the United States Congress. The Aviary is the only independent indoor nonprofit aviary in the United States. If you want to get up close and personal with some feathered friends, check out the National Aviary on the north side.
